Allergex 4 mg tablets are indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with a range of allergic and anaphylactic conditions, including: 

• Hay fever (allergic rhinitis), including sneezing, runny nose, and itching of the nose and throat
• Hives (urticaria) and angioedema (swelling)
• Allergic skin reactions (such as contact dermatitis and atopic dermatitis)
• Reactions to insect bites or stings
• Allergies to certain foods or medicines
• Itchy eyes (allergic conjunctivitis) 

• Dosage: For adults and children 12 years or older, the usual dose is one 4 mg tablet every 4 to 6 hours, not exceeding 24 mg (6 tablets) in 24 hours. For children 6 to 12 years, half a tablet (2 mg) every 4 to 6 hours is the usual dose, with a maximum of 12 mg in 24 hours. Use is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
