ALLECET 10 mg tablets contain cetirizine dihydrochloride (10 mg), an antihistamine used to relieve symptoms associated with various allergic conditions. 

• Allergic rhinitis (hay fever), which involves sneezing, a runny nose, an itchy nose or throat, and itchy, watery eyes.
• Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) and other allergic skin conditions, providing relief from itching, rashes, and swelling.
• Allergies to substances such as dust mites, animal dander, and mold.
• Relief from symptoms of allergic reactions after insect bites. 

ALLECET may cause drowsiness, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Alcohol consumption should be avoided while taking this medication as it can enhance these effects. The typical dose for adults and children 12 years and older is 10 mg daily. Children aged 6 to 12 may take 10 mg daily as a single or divided dose.
